FGN Sports: Trevor Talks Season 2; Manager Insights, Goals & Predictions.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to FGN Sports! My name is Trevor, and I’ll be your on-field reporter, bringing you exclusive interviews with managers and info on the next season on FGN.
Today on FGN we will be talking about season 2, and interview some of the managers to get a glance at their look on the preparations for the season.
With the recent draw on the divisions, it’s clear to see that at this point in time every division could be very, very hard to play in. With all 3 divisions having the same promotion system, managers will be aiming to finish in the top 4 to start in the newly formed Premiership Division in season 3. It’s looking like the position 4–8 finishers will be playing in Division 1 next season, and the 8–13 finishers will end up in Division 2 fighting for their promotion next upcoming season. So you could say Season 2 is a very, very important season. Big decisions will be made, talents will be shown, and the balance will be seen after season’s end.
We asked @Gale_Kast some questions to see how the preparations are going:
Trevor: How did your team come together for this season? Any changes since last season?
Gale Kast: A few changes prior to TDD, sold two pacey strikers in the hope of doing deals and then missed out on just about everyone! I did get Liam Delap though who could bring in some goals and hopefully a big upgrade going forward! Looks like I will be moving a couple of reserves to boost the squad and then look at bringing some other cover.
Trevor: What goals have you set for this season, and what division do you aim to play in Season 3?
Gale Kast: My goals this season are to score more goals! I have too many shots and not enough are actually finished. I’d also like to get the dribbling down on eFootball, I’m the opposite I was on PEN where I could dribble and not pass, now I can pass but can’t dribble! Season 3, I’d like to make it into Division 2 if possible, I’d like to push for Division 1 but I think it’s going to be tough.
Trevor: Which team or player are you most looking forward to facing this season?
Gale Kast: @Evilcatlord and @zeemeister. Catlord because of the games we had last season, they were some of the closest and most fun. Zee because I haven’t played him in years and it’s great to see him back.
Trevor: Which teams do you think will be the toughest competition this year?
Gale Kast: Evilcatlord again will be up there, I’m also expecting Zee and @spragga to do well. But I’m sure it’s going to be a tough division and there won’t be any easy games.
Trevor: Understandable choices, Evilcatlord of course being the season 1 champion, and Zee and Spragga being OG PEN members and long-term PES players they could be looking at a strong return to the league. How would you describe your playstyle in a few words?
Gale Kast: Chaotic nonsense essentially.
Trevor: Chaotic nonsense indeed, we feel ya @Gale_Kast and thank you for the insight on Nakhonratchasima FC. Competing in Division 3 against these teams:

Trevor: Talking about strong returns in the league, welcome @Sanith, you could also be looking at a very strong return, being drawn into Division 1. What are your feelings about the team you have right now?
Sanith: Our first season begins, the squad is assembled and our vision is set!
This is our debut season, and it’s all about laying the foundation for something special. The team came together through a mix of smart scouting, transfer market deals, and a clear focus on building a balanced squad with potential.
Squad Formation:
Every player was handpicked based on their fit with our tactical system — not just stats.
We’ve blended raw talent with a few experienced heads to keep the dressing room steady and focused.
The goal from Day 1 is chemistry, adaptability to achieve the goals.
Trevor: Looks like you have a clear vision Sanith, what can we expect from you and your team this season?
Sanith: Build from the back with a strong defensive core and implementing a more possession-based system with quicker transitions.
Players who are really good on the pitch and fight for the team more than the stats on paper.
Lots of learning, tactical tweaking, and team growth.
A competitive edge — we’re not just here to participate, we’re here to build a legacy.
This is just the beginning, but the ambition is real. Let’s get to work and show the league what we’re made of!
A connected community vibe both on and off the pitch.
Trevor: A clear vision indeed, and what goals have you set for this season?
Sanith: For our first season, our focus is crystal clear: build chemistry, define our identity, and compete with intent. We’re not here just to find our footing — we’re here to establish ourselves as a serious force in the league.
- Develop a consistent playing style that fits our strengths.
- Secure a strong mid-to-high table finish and to stay in Division 1 next season too.
- Long-term vision (Season 3 target): By Season 3, our sights are firmly set on playing in Division 1 — not just participating, but competing for the title.
We’re building a squad with that level in mind — adding pieces strategically, sharpening tactics, and growing as a unit. It’s not just about promotion, it’s about staying there and making a statement.
This journey is just beginning, but the ambition is bold.
Trevor: So at least a top 4 finish for you and your team. I’m sure you are familiar with some of the other managers in the division and their same goals. Any team or manager in particular you are looking forward to playing against?
Sanith: Honestly? Everyone… But if we had to pick one or two…
We’ve got our eyes on OG Frillypink and True Bangkok United — they’ve been making noise in the forum, and testing ourselves against the best is exactly what we want. It’s not about the names on the back — it’s about the statement we make when we step on the pitch.
Whether it’s facing a tactical mastermind or a player with ridiculous stats, we thrive on the challenge.
Every match is a chance to prove we belong here — and make sure the league remembers our name.
We’re new, we’re hungry, and we’re not backing down.
Trevor: OG frillypink, what a frillypink name and a frillypink pick from you. And of course True Bangkok United, finishing top 3 last season — they will be a top competitor this season around. Last question, how would you describe your playstyle?
Sanith: Possession-based, build from the back.
We believe in controlling the tempo, owning the ball, and constructing every attack with purpose — starting right from our goalkeeper. It’s all about patience, precision, and progress.
We don’t rush. We dictate.
This is intelligent football, this is our way.
Trevor: Thank you Sanith, competing against all these teams in Division 1:

Trevor: Well thank you everyone and we will see you—WAIT we see another manager passing by, let’s see if we can catch him. DEF! DEFFF! @def hello! We can see you are very busy with the preparations for the new season in Division, some quick fire questions.
Trevor: How are preparations going for you this season?
Def: So I say that went very well. Thank you.
Trevor: How are you feeling about this season?
Def: There are so many changes in the league, it will be very different teams than we’ve seen before.
Trevor: Any long-term goals for season 3?
Def: Still do not have far-reaching plans about season 3, no.
Trevor: And for this season?
Def: The main goal is trying to form the core of the team. I need to gain experience and enjoy playing with world-class teams.
Trevor: While playing these world-class teams, any team you think will be the toughest in Division 2?
Def: I would not single out anyone, all of the teams and managers have very high class exactly. I’m sure that any team can be the toughest.
Trevor: Indeed, all 3 divisions seem to have a very tough schedule ahead. Last question, how would you describe your playing style?
Def: I have a very simple, physical, determined style of play, with good defending and good counter-attacking. Something like Nottingham Forest or Wolverhampton.
Thank you Def, we are looking forward to seeing you compete in Division 2 with all these other teams:

That’s it for today, back to the studio, and we will see you all next time!
